چکیده
Abstract Background Acinetobacter baumannii is a common nosocomial pathogen that poses huge threat to global health. Owing the severity of A. infections, it became necessary investigate epidemiological characteristics in Chinese hospitals and find reasons for high antibiotic resistance rate mortality. This study aimed epidemiologic genetic isolated from patients with hospital acquired pneumonia (HAP), bloodstream infection (BSI) urinary tract (UTI) China uncover potential mechanisms multi-drug virulence isolates. Results All isolates were classified into two primary clades core gene-based phylogenetic relationship. Clonal complex 208 (CC208) mainly consisted ST195 (32 %) ST208 (24.6 %). CC208 non-CC208 had carbapenem rates 96.2 9.1 %, respectively. Core genes enriched ‘Amino acid transport metabolism’, ‘Translation’, ‘Energy production conversion’, ‘Transcription’, ‘Inorganic ion metabolism’ ‘Cell wall/membrane/envelope synthesis’. Most possessed factors related polysaccharide biosynthesis, capsular synthesis motility. Eleven belong ST369 or ST191 (oxford scheme) all factor cap8E higher positive UTI (35.3 than BSI (18.9 HAP (12.9 ABGRI1 islands responsible streptomycin, tetracycline sulfonate resistance. The bla OXA?23 gene was most probable cause resistance, although OXA?66 nonsynonymous SNPs (F82L, I129L) not. Conclusions genomically variable has range infectious diseases. There proportion three sites (HAP, UTI), which can be attributed gene. predominant clone -carrying should monitored. Virulence involving bacteria motility biosynthesis are widespread clinical strains deserve our attention.

15 صفحه اولComparative Genomics of Multidrug Resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii
Acinetobacter baumannii is a species of nonfermentative gram-negative bacteria commonly found in water and soil. This organism was susceptible to most antibiotics in the 1970s. It has now become a major cause of hospital-acquired infections worldwide due to its remarkable propensity to rapidly acquire resistance determinants to a wide range of antibacterial agents. Here we use a comparative gen...

BACKGROUND Multidrug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii, (MRAB) is an important cause of hospital acquired infection. AIM To document the emergence of MRAB in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU); and to characterize its hospital-wide outbreak by investigating antibiotypes and genotypes. MATERIALS AND METHODS A six-month prospective study for the presence of MRAB infection or colonization on inpatie...

OBJECTIVES The study aimed to investigate the prevalence and epidemiological characteristics of blaNDM-1 (encoding New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase 1) in Enterobacteriaceae and the Acinetobacter calcoaceticus-Acinetobacter baumannii complex (ABC) in China from July 2011 to June 2012. METHODS PCR was used to screen for the presence of blaNDM-1 in all organisms studied. For blaNDM-1-positive strai...

Objective(s):To date, the most important genes responsible for tetracycline resistance among Acinetobacter baumannii isolates have been identified as tet A and tet B. This study was carried out to determine the rate of resistance to tetracycline and related antibiotics, and mechanisms of resistance. Materials and Methods: During the years 2010 and 2011, a total of 100 A. baumannii isolates we...
